Summer is the right time for patriotism.

Happy 4th y'all! 

This is an actual picture of what it looked like today in London - rainy and gray and, frankly, miserable.

I know I have lived here for a while now, but I just cannot get used to the lack of summer weather. I just want to be wearing shorts and eating loads of ice cream like everyone else in the world. And with all of you in the states talking about how beautiful it is outside.... I don't even have a tan! And I mean, seriously, it is July!!!!!

*sigh*

Here's hoping the sun is still shining when I get to Michigan.
