Transitions.

Wasn't it November just last week? Somehow in the span of less than seven days the cold weather has kicked itself into high gear, right along with the Christmas spirit.

Two weeks ago I was doing this:

But now it is all about Christmas. It even snowed last night, surprisingly, and although it's already melting and slushy, the snow has really revived the spirits of the town. The houses are starting to look a little bit like gingerbread creations and children are being fitted for new wellies. Very promising.

Of course, I have been decorating, and listening to Christmas music...and watching Christmas 24.
