A 90th soirée surprise.

Maybe the nicest way to end the summer is to celebrate your Grandfather-in-law's 90th birthday by surprising him when he walks over the road to the local pub for his daily Guinness.

Three years ago, on our wedding day, this man very graciously took a back seat and accepted a Colin the Caterpillar cake and a rousing chorus of the 'Happy Birthday' song during the reception. So this year we decided to make it all about him. 

With four children, at least twice as many grand children and one great-grand on the way, he certainly has a lot to show for the last better part of a decade.
